Description: The CSI Early Learning Center is currently looking to fill 8 Classroom Aid positions. Candidates should be willing to perform a variety of tasks, including, but not limited to: working with young children, cleaning, organizing, and assisting with office work. Candidates must be self-motivated, hard-working, be willing to work as a team, and be able to pass a background check. Description: Peer Tutoring positions in the areas of Biology, Chemistry, Math, or Writing. Peer tutors will provide assistance in one or multiple content areas and all tutors will support the learning of basic college study methods. Description: The CSI Early Learning Center is currently looking to fill 4 Nutrition Aide positions. Candidates need to be able to work from 8:00-10:00 OR 11:00-1:00 OR 2:30-4:30 Monday through Friday. The position involves serving food, keeping accurate records of food served, and cleaning to provide a sanitary environment for food preparation. Candidates must be self-motivated, hard-working, willing to work as a team, and have integrity. Description: Gallery attendant responsibilities include monitoring of activities in the museum galleries. This candidate must be willing to learn gallery content, answer questions from visitors, observe and assist in use of electronic equipment, and participate as needed with special events at the center. The Rover responsibilities include assisting the educator and gallery manager with programs, activities, workshops, graphic design projects and exhibit related tasks as assigned. This position requires good communication and organizational skills, computer knowledge, the ability to work effectively and patiently with children as well as adults and large groups. Schedule is flexible, but will require some evenings and weekends. Description: Recreation Assistant assists CSI Students and community members of the Student Rec. Center . This positions focus is on keeping the facility Safe, Clean and Friendly. Recreation Assistants clean all rooms and equipment, assist members at the front desk, and other jobs as needed like providing information, general maintenance/custodial & weight room supervision. Description: Senior Lab Assistant – In addition to Lab Assistant job responsibilities, student may assist in troubleshooting laboratory experiments, developing new laboratory procedures, and troubleshooting and repairing equipment. Student is expected to know how to make solutions, dilutions, and mixtures, and be familiar with LoggerPro and Excel. This position requires two semesters of chemistry OR enrollment in Chemistry 112 OR one semester working as a general lab assistant. If requirements are not met, then general lab assistant position will be filled.
