Teaching Philosophy

I believe teacher and student have a partnership in the education process. My role as a teacher is to guide the studentís learning not only by lecturing (some information is a must to know), but also by sharing my experiences, giving examples and stimulating questions in the classroom. Students have many kinds of learning styles therefore it is essential to provide assignments and stimulate critical thinking for all students. Students bring their motivation to learn and life experiences that enhance classroom discussion. My worst fear as a new teacher was that I would not know the answer to a studentís question. Needless to say, I have researched many studentís questions and shared that information with them. Teachers like students are lifelong learners.
