Curriculum Vitae

Experience (College-Level Instruction and Industrial Consulting)
College of Southern Idaho
Distinguished Professor in the Mathematics Dept, and the AS in Mathematics program advisor, from the spring semester of 2001 through present. Taught courses titled Math Concepts, Math in the Modern Society, Beginning, Intermediate and College Algebra, Trigonometry, Elementary Statistics, Math for Elementary Teachers 1 and 2, Finite Math, Precalculus, Brief Calculus, Calculus 1, 2 and 3, Discrete Mathematics, Introduction to Linear Algebra and Ordinary Differential Equations.

The University of Montana
Employed by the Dept of Mathematical Sciences as an Adjunct Instructor for both 2000 summer sessions and the fall semester of 2000. Taught courses titled Intermediate Algebra, Contemporary Mathematics, and Probability and Linear Mathematics.

The International Heart Institute of Montana
Performed multivariate analysis of the aortic valve complex using digital sonomicrometry. Study focused on the valve's mechanics. Analysis performed included exploratory, regression, residual, assessment of model fits and prediction. (Master of Arts Thesis)

Montana Optometric Association
Analyzed results of multiple survey study of Montana optometrists and their practice. Project goals included auditing instrument and equipment availability, examining patient satisfaction survey results and overseeing product quality assessment studies. Statistical techniques for processing survey data performed.

Montana Dept of Transportation
Executed regression of soil characteristic data to predict soil resistance for identification of potential sites for future road construction. Analysis of data at various stages of regression project included exploratory data analysis, model fitting, cross validation and report summaries.
