Commencement is the graduation ceremony. It is an opportunity for graduating CSI students to celebrate their accomplishments with parents and friends.
Students who choose to "walk" at the commencement ceremony will have their efforts and achievements be recognized by college administration and faculty, and will receive a diploma cover. Students are not required to walk in the commencement ceremony, and attendance does not guarantee graduation. Once the student completes all of their graduation requirements, their official diploma will be mailed.
If you have questions concerning commencement, please contact the Office of the Registrar at records@csi.edu.
The College of Southern Idaho will hold four separate commencement ceremonies this year. The ceremonies will be Friday May 10th at 9:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 2:00 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. and they will be held at the CSI Fine Arts Auditorium.
Guest tickets are issued only to the CSI graduates and may be picked up either during Grad Fest or will be available from the CSI Bookstore after that. Those interested in attending in person must secure a guest ticket from a CSI graduate.
If you do not have a guest ticket, but would like to attend in person, there will be extra overflow seats available on a first come, first served basis. The ceremonies will be live streamed to those overflow rooms.
