This course will introduce young athletes to safe exercises in the weight room taught by NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist Travis Bunker. Young athletes will learn many different total body exercises to help strengthen and prevent injuries. The focus is not on “how much weight” or “maxing out” but how to do the exercises safely and with the correct form to enhance performance. This can be very beneficial to athletes going into or currently participating in high school strength or sports programs to prepare them for weight classes or continue what progress has been made during the school year. Body weight exercises, resistance bands, and light weights will be utilized to help your son or daughter build confidence in their abilities. Come get stronger!
