Superhero Training Day 7/8/2017

Fresh from the success of their Princess Tea Party, students in the College of Southern Idaho’s Surgical Technology program have come up with another youth-oriented fundraiser on Saturday, July 8. Young superheroes of all kinds are invited to the Superhero Training Day at the CSI Challenge Course.

Boys and girls of all ages are urged to come in their favorite superhero costume – Superman, Superwoman, The Hulk, Wonder Woman, Captain America, The Flash, Cat Woman, Wolverine, or others. Kids are also welcome to come dressed as nurses, doctors, emergency medical or search and rescue professionals, U.S. military members, police or firefighters.

The event will include flying lessons on the CSI zip line, a super bean bag toss, walking on the balance beam, climbing like Spiderman on the rock wall, a greased lightning race, superhero bingo, and a web crawl.

The event will run from 10 a.m. until noon at the CSI Challenge Course and picnic area located behind CSI’s Eldon Evans Expo Center. Space is limited so it’s strongly advised that parents sign their kids up in advance by contacting Rae Jean in the CSI Health Science building at 208-732-6701 or at The cost is $15 per child at the time of registration.
