CSI classes in Idaho Falls 6/12/2014

High quality higher education without the high cost! These classes are designed to allow students more opportunities to get their core credits close to home and at lower community college prices. The College of Southern Idaho offers the following general education classes available to Idaho Falls area students starting Aug. 25:   Cultural Anthropology, Art History, Biology, Chemistry, Introduction to Law and Justice , Principles of Macroeconomics, History of Western Civilization, College Algebra, and Ethics.

This is a great opportunity for eastern Idaho students who would like to earn some of their basic college credits at home and at a much lower cost before going away to a university. Over the course of four semesters, first and second-year college students can earn up to 36 general education credits in Math, Social Science, Humanities, and Science without leaving Idaho Falls and pay far less for them.

Here is the complete list of classes:

The CSI classes are available at $115 per credit, plus books and class fees where applicable, and will transfer smoothly to majors at Idaho’s four-year schools. Students who are degree-seeking at the University of Idaho, Idaho State University, Boise State University, or Eastern Idaho Technical College may qualify for financial aid under that institution’s consortium agreement. Please check with your institution’s financial aid office for more information.
