Testing Accommodations

All testing accommodations are determined on a case-by-case basis and must be supported by the medical documentation provided.  Students are responsible for discussing their testing accommodations with instructors to make appropriate arrangements.  Typically, instructors will have you take your tests in the Testing Center.  If this is the case, you will need to complete the Test Scheduling Form and submit it to the SDS Office.  The form must be submitted at least one week in advance (two weeks for finals).  We will contact you to confirm your test time once the test is scheduled and accommodations are arranged.  At the time of your test, report to the Testing Center and present your student ID.

Typical testing accommodations include:

  • Extended Time
  • Separate Testing Environment
  • Reader
  • Scribe
